We have used language much like we have used and continue to use all of our creations....
Both to to our benefit and otherwise...
It is difficult for us to gain a fresh perspective on the use of symbolic forms such as logic, mathematics and language since we have no choice but to use these same forms in our efforts to express any insights or criticisms we may have of them.
But... as I have said elsewhere... we are somewhat like artists that have created some representation of a beautiful feast and have deceived ourselves into believing that it is the real thing and thus edible and can provide nourishment for ourselves or others....
Our symbolic creations are not necessarily a problem, but it it is our belief that they are somehow an adequate equal to the experiences that we attempt to express with them...
